Rikard Karlberg: In the bag
Swede lands first European Tour title with a mixed bag of equipment

Sweden’s Rikard Karlberg clinched his maiden European Tour title at the Italian Open sporting a mixed bag of clubs.
Karlberg, who has now posted 17 consecutive rounds of 71 or better, ousted two-time major champion Martin Kaymer for the title with a birdie at the second play-off hole.
Report: Kaymer rues late errors
Despite ranking outside the top 40 in both driving distance and accuracy, Karlberg excelled with his Srixon Z 745 irons and Cleveland 588 RTX wedges by finding 75% of the greens in regulation at Golf Club Milano.
The win comes at the perfect time for the 28-year-old as he recently got married and is expecting twins at the end of the year.
