Odyssey extends DFX range
Longer shafts on 2-ball putter range. Find out more...
Odyssey is to add three new models to its DFX Two-ball putter range – a centre-shafted, long and mid model. Each of the new DFX putters feature the Stronomic insert, which gives a slightly firmer feel than the White Hot insert. They also feature the distinctive dark finish to reduce glare. The DFX 2-Ball centre-shafted putter has an extended mallet head with a centre shaft and no offset. It’s available in right- and left-handed models of 33, 34, 35 and 36 inches and a suggested retail price of £139. The Long putter has a similar head with a broomhandle shaft and split grip. It’s available right- and left-handed, 46, 48 and 50 inches long and will cost £189. The Mid putter has 41, 43 and 45 inch models at the same price of £189. All 2-Ball Putters have two golf ball-size discs positioned directly behind the centre of the face as an alignment system to help ensure the putter is square to the target. Odyssey 2-Ball putters have been used to win 69 tour events around the world since their introduction in late 2001. In both 2002 and 2003, they were put in play more often than any other putter model across the world’s six major pro Tours. "The original Odyssey 2-Ball putter sparked a revolution in putter design and performance," says Patrice Hutin, President of Callaway Golf. "With three new additions to the 2-Ball line-up, we now offer 10 models to satisfy the putting preferences of most golfers." |
