These clubs are very hard to find, however, they can be very useful and save you a lot of money in buying a full set of clubs.
Have you ever imagined what it would be like to have a club in your bag whereby with a click of the head, you could change its loft from a 9 iron into a 5 iron?
Well, there is no need to imagine such a thing as they can be found in reality. They are very much a thing of the past but in times gone by, people used them instead of having a full set of irons.
Many of you may not have come across a golf club like this before, but despite what you may think, they certainly do exist and can be found in the odd golf bag up and down the country.
However, if you were to buy a club such as the 'Super Stick' in the Instagram post below, you have to consider whether you are allowed to use them in the modern game.
Unfortunately, according to the rules that address equipment, it is stated that it must not be too easy for a player to make adjustments during a round and that the mechanism must be firmly fixed, with little chance of it working loose.
So essentially, if you were to use this club in your golf bag in a competition or a round with your friends, you must make sure that the head is set at one loft for the duration of your round.
Admittedly, it is highly unlikely that you will encounter a golfer who possesses such a club and it is equally as unlikely that you will get hold of one yourself.
Nonetheless, it is important to grasp and absorb as many golf rules and regulations as possible so that you can have a nice, smooth round without worrying about what you can and can't do.
