Howell, 43, has played in The Masters 10 times with a best finish of tied 13th in 2004.
There are whispers on social media due to Howell coming from Augusta, Georgia, where the season's first major takes place.
Howell also just happens to be the hottest player on LIV Golf right now having finished first and fifth in the first two events of their season.

Will Howell make it 19?
Let's wait and see.
Howell has won three times on the PGA Tour.
His first came at the Michelob Championship in 2002 and then he won the 2007 Nissan Open in a playoff over Phil Mickelson.
Howell had to wait more than 11 years for his next win coming in a playoff victory at the 2018 RSM Classic.
Despite having only won three times on the PGA Tour, he ranks 23rd in PGA Tour career earnings with $42.2m.
Howell clinched the first LIV Golf League event of the season when sprinting away from the field at Mayakoba in Mexico by four shots.
Last year Howell said "money was not a factor" in his decision to join LIV Golf.
