Phil Mickelson walked out to THIS Eminem song at LIV Golf Adelaide's party hole
Phil Mickelson had a fascinating choice of music for his walk-out song at the "Watering Hole" at LIV Golf Adelaide.
LIV Golf's Phil Mickelson had an intriguing walk-out song for the party hole at Grange GC for the LIV Golf Adelaide event this week in Australia.
Mickelson, who's playing in his first event since his surprise runner-up finish at The Masters a few weeks ago, was tied for eighth at 9-under par after 36 holes at LIV Golf Adelaide.
He was 11 strokes back of leader Talor Gooch, who has an incredible 10-stroke lead and is on the brink of his first LIV Golf win after recording back-to-back rounds of 62.
This week's event is the first time a LIV Golf tournament has been hosted in Australia, as the series flew to Adelaide for its fourth event of the 2023 season.
The host course is Grange GC, which has been highlighted by an exciting party hole. This week, the par-3 12th has been named the "Watering Hole."
During the first round, it was the scene of a hilarious fan moment, when one spectator caught an errant tee shot.
On Saturday, Mickelson, 52, chose to walk-out onto the hole with an Eminem song playing over the speakers.
What song?
The six-time major champion approached the hole with one of Eminem's most popular hits, "Lose Yourself."

Mickelson was asked about his song choice following his round:
"Lose Yourself" has become a very popular song in the sports world over the years, as the lyrics describe someone getting ready for a big performance.
Mickelson ended up making even par at the "Watering Hole" despite the motivating music, and recorded a second-round 65. The team he captain's, the Hy Flyers GC, were in fourth.
