Dustin Johnson offers the most on-brand response to LIV Golf feud
Dustin Johnson has a perfect response to current feud with Talor Gooch at LIV Golf Tulsa.
Dustin Johnson has come up with a perfect response to his on-going feud with former teammate Talor Gooch at this week's LIV Golf Tulsa event.
The feud between the two stars dates all the way back to October 2022, when the 4 Aces GC celebrated their season-ending team championship win in Miami.
According to Johnson, he told his then teammate, Gooch, to enjoy the stadium celebration "because that was the last time he's going to do that."
A short while later, Gooch was dropped from Johnson's team, and Gooch was subsequently picked up by Bubba Watson's Range Goats, who had not yet won a team title in a LIV event.

But it appears the swap has worked out for Gooch, as the 31-year-old went on to pick up his maiden LIV Golf win at the Adelaide event in April.

He told reporters:
Gooch eventually added to the feud after he won his second event a week later in Singapore, telling reporters:

The back-and-forth in the press finally came to the surface this week in Oklahoma for the LIV Golf Tulsa event, where Johnson and Gooch were paired together in the first round, along with Sergio Garcia.
Johnson got the clear edge over Gooch following 18 holes on Friday as he was tied for second.

And now, the two-time major winner has the perfect response to Gooch's "where's DJ?" line in the rivalry.
Johnson shot a 7-under 63 Saturday at Cedar Ridge Country Club to take both the individual lead and help his 4 Aces to the team lead heading into Sunday's final round in Gooch's home state.
