Surely there is nothing a golfer loves more than a no cut event. In a place as beautiful as Hawaii, being able to travel to such a picturesque island and stay in the finest hotels, knowing that no matter how badly you play that week, the least you'll earn is $64,000.
The Sentry Tournament of Champions, hosted at the Kapalua Resort in Hawaii, consisted of a 34-man field of players who had won in the previous calendar year.
Playing the Plantation Course, the field full of 2019's tournament victors were competing for an overall purse of $6.7 million, with Justin Thomas coming out on top and takaing home the winner's share of $1.34 million.
As we mentioned earlier, this tournament has no cut point, so as long as you compete in all four rounds then the worst prize a player could take home was $64,000... not bad for a few days work.
