Harry Higgs is becoming everyone's new favourite golfer on PGA Tour
Harry Higgs puts his driver between his legs and rides it like a horse off the tee box at the Phoenix Open...
PGA Tour rookie Harry Higgs is fast becoming a fan favourite on the circuit. Not just because of an impressive golf game but more so for his character, and that was clear for all to see at last week's Waste Management Phoenix Open.
We like to think of him as a modern-day cross between Freddie Couples and Tim Herron. You've got that seemingly carefree attitude and laidback style, while wearing shades and leaving those shirt buttons undone in the process.
As for his character, his actions after driving the green at the par-4 17th at TPC Scottsdale on Saturday just about sum this guy up. And guess what, he holed the mammoth putt for eagle too! You might recall Boo Weekley doing something similar at the 2008 Ryder Cup...
The 28-year-old from New Jersey also has some game too, reflected by a steady progression to 134th in the world right now. Two years ago Higgs found himself on the Korn Ferry Tour and outside the world's top 1,000.
Higgs went on to finish tied 25th at the Phoenix Open, but his biggest highlights so far in the 2019/2020 PGA Tour season include finishing second in the Bermuda Championship and tied ninth in the Farmers Insurance Open.
