Brooks Koepka has rightfully been named PGA Tour Player of the Year for 2017-18, and Dustin Johnson is the first to congratulate him - despite recent speculation the two friends have fallen out.

Koepka, 28, defended his title at the U.S. Open in June, then won the PGA Championship in August, becoming the fifth player to win both in the same season and the first since  Tiger Woods in 2000.

With his victory at the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills, Koepka became the first player since Curtis Strange in 1989 to win consecutive U.S. Open titles.

Johnson, the world number one, was involved in a bust-up with Koepka - confirmed by captain Jim Furyk this week - following the United States' heavy 17.5-10.5 defeat to Europe at Le Golf National last month, but judging by his latest tweet, all is good once again...
