Golf fan posts HILARIOUS reply to Eddie Pepperell's 48-inch driver Tweet!
Pepperell tees up on the banter on Twitter, and a golf fan goes to great lengths with his reply...
One of Eddie Pepperell's biggest fans went to great lengths to show his appreciation of the Englishman's latest tweet that claimed he was trialing a new 48-inch driver ahead of this week's DP World Tour Championship.
Pepperell, fair to say regarded as the king of golf Twitter, posted "I'm trialing a 48" driver this week so if you're the owner of any property at Jumeirah board it up."

While we are fairly certain the World No.125 is joking about testing out a lengthened driver shaft this week, one of Pepperell's fans - by the name of @Nooneio80 on Twitter - went along with it and made a lot of people laugh in the process.

So much so, Nooneio's reponse caught the attention of Thomas Pieters, who tweeted he now deserves a round of golf with Pepperell for his efforts.

Pepperell heads into the European Tour's season finale this week following some indifferent form, but he did show signs of a resurgence recently with consecutive top-10 finishes at the Scottish Open and BMW PGA Championship.
