RIFE and Golf Life launch £50,000 #RifeDontMiss Putting Challenge
Golfers across the UK are invited to qualify for the Grand Final and a shot at £50,000 and a world record.
RIFE Golf has launched the #RifeDontMiss Challenge – a nationwide putting competition, in partnership with Golf Life, giving everyday golfers the chance to claim a world record and win £50,000.
The three-stage qualifier series begins at American Golf New Malden tomorrow on the 17th April, where members of the public can pick up a RIFE Black Edition putter and take on the challenge: sink as many 6-foot putts as possible in one minute. The top performers will qualify for the Grand Final – hosted by Golf Life – and take their shot at putting glory and a life-changing prize.
The #RifeDontMiss Challenge is a nationwide search for the UK’s best putters – offering a shot at golfing immortality and the chance to take the world record long putt out of the hands of pro golfer David Micheluzzi.
The three qualifying events kick off at American Golf New Malden, followed by Leeds on 22nd May and Manchester’s Trafford Centre on 26th June. The top five from each event will earn a place in the Grand Final – held at a secret location – where £50,000 and a world record will be on the line.
All three events are now open for early registration, giving you the chance to guarantee your spot in the challenge – where you’ll have one minute to sink as many 6-foot putts as possible.
The top five putters from each location will qualify for the Grand Final, meaning 15 members of the public will be attempting to make golfing history. Each finalist will also take home a brand new RIFE Black Edition putter on the night.
Ahead of the launch of the #RifeDontMiss competition, Golf Life’s Tubes said “We’re absolutely buzzing to be working with RIFE and giving anyone the chance to win £50k on our channel this July – if they finish in the top five at one of the qualifiers in London, Leeds, or Manchester.
Ange and I will be down at the New Malden store on Thursday 17th to oversee the attempts, with some of our friends – including darts announcing legend Russ Bray and football icon Paul Ince – appearing at events along the way.
