Echavarria, 30, has won twice on the premier North American circuit, with his latest win coming at the ZOZO Championship in Japan.
Having gained a PGA Tour card for the 2022–23 season via the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour Finals, Echavarria wasted no time in winning his first event, which came at the 2023 Puerto Rico Open, where he ran out a two-shot victory over Akshay Bhatia.
In Japan, at the ZOZO, Echavarria defeated a strong field that featured several highly-ranked players, including Max Homa, Sahith Theegala, Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas.
