How much Nico Echavarria won (and others) at the ZOZO Championship on PGA Tour
Nico Echavarria captured his second PGA Tour title with a narrow one-shot victory at the ZOZO Championship; see how much they all earned in Japan.
Nico Echavarria clinched his second PGA Tour title with victory at the ZOZO Championship in Japan, and with a career-best pay day too.
Colombian Echavarria, 30, birdied two of the last three holes to card a 67, enough for a narrow one-shot victory over Justin Thomas and Max Greyserman.
Echavarria, who finished the week 20-under par, collected $1.53m in the 78-player, no-cut event.
The total prize purse was $8.5m.
The victory marks Echavarria's second on the PGA Tour having notched his first at the Puerto Rico Open in March 2023.
For Thomas, who remains winless since the 2022 US PGA, it marks his best result of the PGA Tour season.
The frustration also continues for Greyserman, who has incredibly now recorded three runner-up finishes in his last five starts on the PGA Tour.
You would have to believe it's only a matter of time until the 29-year-old American breaks down the door for a first win.
