Callaway Golf makes huge Jon Rahm and LIV Golf announcement

Callaway Golf has today announced an expanded partnership with Jon Rahm and his LIV Golf team, Legion XIII. 

The golf equipment giant now becomes the first OEM to announce an equipment partnership with a LIV Golf team. 

The move will see the Callaway logo replace the Legion XIII logo on the front of Rahm's golf cap. 

Rahm's teammates Caleb Surratt and new signing Tom McKibbin are also Callaway Golf staff players and so the famous chevron logo will also be positioned at the front of their caps too. 

However, Tyrrell Hatton - the fourth member of the team - remains a PING staff player and so the Englishman will continue with the Legion XIII logo on the front of his cap.

Rahm first joined Callaway in 2021, and since then, he has captured two major championships—the 2021 U.S. Open and the 2023 Masters at Augusta National—using Callaway equipment. 

The Spaniard reportedly signed a huge $600m five-year deal to join LIV Golf last season. 

Rahm's Callaway golf bag for 2025 comprises the new Elyte Triple Diamond Driver, Apex TCB Irons, a Chrome Tour X Golf Ball and an Odyssey Ai-One Putter.

McKibbin made something of a shock move to join LIV Golf this season having earned his PGA Tour card for the first ever time via the DP World Tour at the end of 2024.

The Northern Irishman was once mentored by Rory McIlroy, who had urged McKibbin to think twice about a move to the Saudi-bankrolled league. 

Surratt and Hatton have been part of Legion XIII ever since Rahm joined LIV Golf in 2024.
