Tiger Woods is testing a new putter, and the world is going mad!
Tiger Woods has been spotted testing a new TaylorMade Ardmore 3 putter ahead of this week's Quicken Loans National on the PGA Tour.
The referenced media source is missing and needs to be re-embedded.
Despite using a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS blade putter for 13 of his 14 major titles down the years, Woods currently ranks 89th in strokes-gained putting on the PGA Tour in 2018 and is 118th in total putting.
Looking at some of the snaps shared on social media so far this week, Woods is using the TaylorMade TP Black Copper Ardmore 3 model.
This news might come as a surprise to a number of golf geeks given Woods has rarely tested a mallet putter during his career, or a putter with an insert for that matter.
It also appears Woods is using 2.5 gram weights positioned on the toe and heel sole ports of his putter.
And as always, the former world number one has his favoured PING putter grip still on board.
We'll have more as and when we receive it...
