Seamus x Nike Golf Air Zoom Victory Tour - FIRST LOOK
Nike Golf reveals new shoe for December 12 launch.
Nike has revealed it is highlighting two Oregon-based companies — Seamus Golf, an accessory brand, and Pendleton Woolen Mills — in a variation of the Nike Golf Air Zoom Victory Tour.
The outsole plate and sockliner draw from the jacquard woolen designs on the Seamus x Pendleton headcovers, a collaborative project between the two Pacific Northwest companies that began in 2015. The Pendleton wordmark adorns a tag on the lateral side.
The Nike Golf x Seamus Air Zoom Victory Tour releases December 12 on nike.com and at select retailers for $200.
The shoe’s outer features brown leather with woodland camouflage waxed canvas on the upper and tongue, while the interior is lined with Pendleton® Tucson Black wool. The shoe also includes a foam sock liner and Nike’s signature Zoom Air unit for extra cushioning.
This new Nike sneaker also features removable spikes around the sides and heel to promote greater grip and traction.
The overall look of the shoe is meant to evoke the Pacific Northwest in homage to Seamus Golf’s Oregon roots, with its mix of materials and textures inspired by a custom golf bag from the company’s founder Akbar Chisti.
“We built our reputation by creating unique, made to order products of impeccable style and quality,” Chisti explains in a press release.
“When you see the originality and character of our products in person, it elevates the ‘Wow’ factor to another level. This shoe is no exception. We’re humbled to have inspired this one of a kind golf shoe.”
