PGA Show 2019: Top 5 Spiked Golf Shoes
GolfMagic's favourite five spiked golf shoes from the PGA Merchandise Show 2019.
There might be a lot of exciting hardware this year, but you might want to think about investing in a new pair of shoes when you see what we saw at the PGA Show this year...
#1 adidas Tour360 XT
The Tour360 XT (£159.95) is completely redesigned. One of the key features is the new TPU outsole. adidas implemented a new eight-spike execution in combination with the X-Traxion secondary lugs for additional grip and stability. By removing two spikes from the previous model, adidas increased flexibility and comfort while decreasing overall weight, benefits all golfers are looking for. BOOST, the best cushioning in the game, has also been re-engineered from heel to toe.
BOOST pieces in the heel and forefoot are now slightly wider and move through larger expansion holes on the bottom to improve both stability and comfort. The new BOOST cushioning has a lower-profile execution for improved aesthetics while also giving players a better feel with the ground.

Made from full-grain leather, the shoe is extremely comfortable and playing in wet conditions is never a problem, as the feet are protected and stay dry thanks to the use of the brand’s exclusive waterproof microfibre system.
The combination of Tour Lock technology and Cross System Protection on the sole of the shoe ensures that the soft spikes provide extreme grip and enable the golfer to balance performance from any stance. The shoe comes with Red and Black laces to suit the wearer’s choice of outfit.
#3 ECCO BIOM G3
BIOM G3 (RRP £210) utilises a range of technologies to deliver exceptional performance that will last round after round, while hard-wearing ECCO YAK leather uppers and a waterproof GORE-TEX construction keep feet dry and comfortable in even the wettest weather.
ECCO GOLF’s renowned BIOM NATURAL MOTION last combines low-to-the-ground stability with a glove-like fit that is built for natural motion. Uncompromising traction is provided through ZARMA-TOUR spikes which work together with hybrid cleats on the toe and rotation line to offer optimal grip and a more stable footing right from the first tee to the last green.
