Mizuno is introducing the JPX-S golf ball to its line-up, a softer version of the JPX ball.

The JPX-S golf ball is a three-piece product, which Mizuno says will offer an increase in initial ball speeds for a wide range of swing speeds, as well as a balanced performance.

A softer core is designed to offer a softer feel at impact, and improved aerodynamics, thanks to Mizuno’s Dimple-Cluster design, convert this into extra yards.

There are 566 dimples in total – 54 more than the JPX ball – which Mizuno hopes will create longer flight times, especially for those will slower swing speeds.

Mizuno also say the ball will perform for those with faster swing speeds as well.
