Next generation drivers, irons, wedges and putters from the Solheim brand

G20 Driver

For all ability levels, the external weighting of the large, forgiving G20 driver helps launch the ball high with low spin for maximum distance and accuracy by optimising the CG location. PING’s proprietary high-balance-point TFC 169D shaft enables the golfer to swing a clubhead with more mass at the same speed, creating a higher MOI and generating faster ball speeds for long, straight drives. A large, variable-thickness face generates faster ball speeds and increases MOI across the hitting surface for power and forgiveness. The 460cc clubhead is made from Ti 8-1-1, a lighter, lower-density alloy. Ti 8-1-1’s high strength-to-weight ratio allowed for additional weight to be strategically placed, increasing the MOI on both the vertical and horizontal axes.

  • Drivers available in 8.5°, 9.5°, 10.5° & 12° lofts
  • Stock graphite shafts: TFC 169D (L, Soft R, R, S, and X flexes) and TFC 169D Tour (R, S, and X flexes) and

G20 Fairway Woods

Getting the ball airborne and adding yards is easy with external weighting and a low-deep CG that produces high launch and optimal spin for long, straight results. The large, 17-4 stainless steel head and face increase the MOI to maintain consistent ball speeds across the hitting surface. Face height is optimised to offer a visually appealing, forgiving option from the tee or fairway. Golfers can optimise their ball flights by choosing either the higher-launching TFC 169F shaft or the TFC 169F Tour version for a lower trajectory.

  • Fairway woods available: 3, 4, 5, and 7-woods
  • Stock graphite shafts: TFC 169F (L, Soft R, R, S, and X flexes) and TFC 169F Tour (R, S, and X flexes)
  • RRP: £175

G20 Hybrids

An offset hosel produces shots with high launch, low spin and a straight, boring trajectory for improved accuracy and greater distance. A shorter heel-to-toe length ensures playability from all conditions and provides a flatter lie angle and softer crown shape for an improved appearance at address. Additional bounce and camber create exceptional ground impact and ensure asmooth transition through the grass, especially when the ball is sitting down. A large, internal weight inside the 17-4 stainless steel head provides forgiveness and distance.

  • Hybrids available: 17º, 20º, 23º, 27º, 31º
  • Stock graphite shafts: TFC 169H (L, Soft R, R, S and X flexes) and TFC 169H Tour (R, S and X flexes)
  • RRP: £139

G20 Irons

The G20 irons hit the ball long with forgiveness and distance control. Extreme perimeter weighting in the deep, multi-cavity design makes the 17-4 stainless steel heads highly forgiving. A multi-material cavity badge made with soft elastomer heel and toe sections improves feel and sound. The cavity’s floating CTP structure stabilises a thin face to generate fast ball speeds and distance with control. Combined with PING’s new CFS (Control, Feel, Stability) steel shaft, the G20 optimises feel, trajectories and distance gaps for more consistency.

  • Available 3-9, PW, UW, SW, LW
  • Stock steel shaft: PING® CFS® (Soft R, R, S and X flexes)
  • Stock graphite shaft: TFC 169i (L, Soft R, R and S flexes)
  • RRP: £80 per club (steel shaft); £100 per club (graphite shaft)

Anser Milled Putter Series

In the Anser Milled Series, PING introduces seven new models to fit more stroke types and style preferences. Precision milled from 303 stainless steel, each Anser Milled putter features subtle variations to the top lines, heel-toe length and toe radius to make them distinct. An elegant satin nickel finish provides a non-glare, appealing look. The seven models feature various hosel designs that determine each putter’s balance.

  • Models: Anser Milled (Slight Arc), Anser Milled 1 (Slight Arc), Anser Milled 2 (Slight Arc), Anser Milled 3 (Slight Arc), Anser Milled 4 (Strong arc), Anser Milled 5 (Straight), Anser Milled 6 (Strong Arc)
  • RRP: £239

Anser Forged Wedges

The Anser wedge is forged from soft 8620 steel that provides a solid, assured feel. A high-density tungsten toe weight optimises the CG and elevates the MOI for penetrating, high-spin trajectories and repeatable shot making. A thicker hitting area, stabilising bar, and hour-glass-shaped reinforced back cavity ensure consistently solid shot making. The machined face and grooves ensure maximum spin and control.

  • Available in 50°, 52°, 54°, 56°, 58°, 60° lofts
  • Stock steel shafts: DG (Dynamic Gold®) Spinner W, CFS (Soft R, R, S and X flexes)
  • Stock graphite shaft: TFC 169i (L, Soft R, R and S flexes)
  • RRP: £150 per club (steel or graphite shaft)

Scottsdale Series Putters

This year PING freshens the Scottsdale Series with seven new models to fit more style preferences and stroke types. The new models feature the same innovative insert made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) with a face appliqué for a soft yet solid feel and crisp sound. High-contrast, optically pleasing alignment aids and long sightlines make aiming easier for improved accuracy. A dark charcoal PVD finish and polished sole creates a prestigious appearance. The Scottsdale putters have multiple professional tour victories.

New models for 2012

  • D66 (Strong Arc), ZB S (Strong Arc), Shea  (Slight Arc), Tomcat S (Slight Arc) RRP: £110
  • Carefree (Slight Arc), Mesquite, (Strong Arc), Senita (Straight) RRP: £125

Sydney Putter

The Sydney is one of PING’s highest-MOI models. Its frame is milled from a high-grade aluminum and features three, 8-gram tungsten weights for optimising balance and forgiveness. A bold red alignment bar makes aiming easy. The solid, consistent feel at impact will build confidence with every putt. To eliminate twisting and keep putts on line, the Sydney has a symmetrical shape for a square set up and extreme perimeter weighting that elevates the MOI. The Sydney is finished with a highly durable nano nickel coating.

  • Sydney(Straight) RRP: £199
