Ludvig Aberg seals first professional win with Titleist
Ludvig Aberg sealed his first professional win in style at the Omega European Masters, on only his second DP World Tour start as a professional.
Ludvig Aberg sealed his first professional win at the Omega European Masters in Switzerland after a calm and composed final round 64 saw him hunt down Matt Fitzpatrick and secure his first piece of professional silverware.
Aberg, 23, finished the tournament -19, displaying a level of maturity that saw him become the #1 ranked amateur golfer in the world before turning pro in June of this year.
The young Swede managed four birdies in his final five holes to chase down Matt Fitzpatrick, who held the overnight lead. Fitzpatrick had a two-shot advantage heading into Sunday, and that margin was extended when Aberg bogeyed his first hole.
LUDVIG ABERG WINS EUROPEAN MASTERS TO ALL BUT GUARANTEE RYDER CUP PICK
Not to be deterred, Aberg held his nerve to birdie the 5th, 8th and 9th before putting on a show at the end of the round with birdies on four of the five finishing holes.

The victory not only marks a huge milestone in his professional career, but it could also be the catalyst that secures his spot on Team Europe for the 2023 Ryder Cup. Luke Donald will have undoubtedly been paying close attention to the Omega European Masters, and it would have been hard for him not to be impressed by what he saw from the young European.
With Donald's six captain's picks yet to be made for the 2023 Ryder Cup, It's looking increasingly likely that Aberg might have done enough to get a call-up for his debut in the hotly contested team event.
Remarkably, if selected, Aberg will be the first ever player to play in the Ryder Cup, having never played in a major championship.
