Best Electric Golf Trolleys 2017
Six of our favourite new electric trolleys for 2017 - which will you choose?
An electric golf trolley is the closest most of us will get to a full-time caddie. They are becoming increasingly popular, as players realise the benefits of staying fresh for the full 18 holes, thanks to not having to carry their own bag.
These days, trolleys are sleek, the batteries are light, and they are incredibly easy to use.
We reveal the best ones with all the bells and whistles that we've taken for a spin this season...
MOTOCADDY S5 CONNECT
Accurate, simple to use, and at a great price - we think the Motocaddy S5 Connect is going to be a monumental hit for you electric trolley fans this season.
Tested against a range finder, the yardages provided on the handle and on the phone app were incredibly accurate, and provide most golfers with all the information they require.
Golfers are not overawed or bombarded by too much tech, meaning even the biggest technophobes will be able to navigate their way around.
POWAKADDY FW5i
Probably our favourite PowaKaddy trolley of all time.
The new FW5i's "Plug ‘n’ Play" system is one of its biggest assets, making charging the product a seamless process. Its fetching colour display also marks an appealing addition, as too its ADF system.
Incredibly simple to erect and collapse, and generally very simple to use.
BIG MAX TERRAIN
If you're after an electric trolley that can conquer the hilliest of terrain, look no further than this bad boy from Big Max.
This brand new three-wheel electric trolley is designed to give you complete control on even the toughest tracks, making life on course that little bit easier and leaving you free to concentrate on your game.
The Terrain earns its stripes with a series of clever systems that keep you on course. None bigger than its 230w whisper quiet motor for power a plenty, while the reinforced differential and automatic downhill braking keeps speed constant.
We found it incredibly easy to steer and control, and particularly easy to dismantle into the boot of the car.
