VIDEO: Garcia tests the TaylorMade R11S
Sergio
TaylorMade believes it has taken adjustable technology to the next level with the introduction in February of the R11S all-white driver, a Tour Preferred (TP) version of which is currently in the hands of its staff players including Sergio Garcia.
The manufacturer's Tom Olsavsky explains to the Spaniard that ASP technology - a raised five-point plate which can be rotated and secured - allows the golfer to adjust the face angle independent of loft setting which means the face angle can be adjusted independently to the loft and vice versa - neutral, slightly open, open, slightly closed and closed.
The R11S driver will be in the shops in early February, priced at £349.
Looks like Sergio will have a lot of fun with it.
