Harleyford Golf Course review
Will this course set alongside the river Thames be as magnificent as its setting?
Harleyford Golf Course is situated along the River Thames in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
The par-72 6,714 yard private members' course has been crafted into the natural parkland, boasting challenges for all levels of ability.
Designed by leading golf course architect, Donald Steele, Harleyford is part of the historic Harleyford estate that has playable facilities all year round.
The clubhouse sits just off the first tee with a bar and restaurant, with training facilities to the righthand side of the 18th hole.
The course is said to have picturesque views, especially midway through, well-maintained greens and well-cut fairways.
Green fees range from £25 after 3pm and £35 before noon on the weekends, and £10 for juniors anytime.
In this review I will look at the course's signature hole, as well as in my opinion the most stunning, and the practice facilities Harleyford have to offer.
