It's a birdie for Rose at 4. The former US Open champ buries it from 15 feet to enter the mix at 13-under par.
It's a sloppy three-putt bogey for Theegala on the par-4 3rd and the American falls back to 14-under par where he began the day. He's now two back of Schauffele, who has found trouble off the tee at 2.
Bryson DeChambeau is ripping it off the tee, and he takes full advantage by firing a dart into the 2nd. He converts the four-footer for birdie to move into solo fourth on 14-under par. An early move from LIV Golf's sole contender for the Wanamaker Trophy.
Xander Schauffele drains a 35-footer for birdie at the 1st to move into the outright lead on 16-under par.

The leading groups are now heading out onto the course.
It's a great finish for Fleetwood, who sends an eight-footer home for birdie on 18 to shoot 65 and end the week on 9-under par.
He'll finish outside the top 20 when all is said and done today but a solid finish nonetheless for the Englishman, who find have his sights firmly set on finally winning a major at the US Open or The Open this summer.
The wait for a fifth career major title goes on for Rory McIlroy, who opens with a bogey at the 1st.
He's just two-putted for par on 2.
McIlroy is currently T27.
After a brilliant start to the week for McIlroy, it's all turned into something of a damp squib.
Brooks Koepka also won't be defending his US PGA title today but he's finishing with a flourish.
Koepka is 5-under par thru 12 holes and up to 9-under par.
It's not going to be back-to-back majors for Scottie Scheffler, but he will be looking to finish strong after a whirlwind week.
Scheffler found the bunker with his approach shot into the difficult par-4 1st but he could not convert his seven footer for par.
The World No.1 is back to 6-under par for the tournament and nine shots off the pace.
England's Jordan Smith birdies the par-5 18th to fire the low round of the day so far of 7-under 64.
Smith finishes the week at 7-under par.
England's Tommy Fleetwood rolls in another on the par-5 10th to move to 5-under par for the day and to 8-under in the tournament.
It's not going to be a maiden major title for Fleetwood, but it's a fantastic final round for him as he looks to build confidence heading into a huge summer.
Valhalla is raining birdies right now, it's quite incredible.
We've already seen a pair of course-record 62s from Xander Schauffele and Shane Lowry this week, but could we see a 61?
62 marks the lowest major round of all time, something that's twice been achieved by Schauffele and once by Lowry, Rickie Fowler and Branden Grace.
You have to believe today represents the perfect opportunity for someone to enter the record books with a 10-under 61.
Let's wait and see...
We're already seeing plenty of birdies out there in the final round.
It looks like a good day for the English players so far with Jordan Smith 6-under par for the round thru 15 holes.
Tommy Fleetwood has just gone out in 4-under par.
Defending champ Brooks Koepka is also enjoying a good Sunday with three birdies on the first six holes.
The leaders do not get under way for another two and half hours.
With the lead at 15-under par, you have to believe with so many red numbers out there today that the winning score will be at least 20-under par.
We've just been handed the actual hole yardages for the final round of the 2024 US PGA Championship.
Check them out there:
Collin Morikawa holds a share of the 54-hole lead with Xander Schauffele, but he does not consider many fans want him to win a second US PGA Championship on Sunday.
Viktor Hovland has made a shock confession ahead of the final round.
He says he very nearly WD at the start of the week after being so fed up with his game.
The European Ryder Cup hero sits just two shots off the pace heading into the final round as he goes in search of a first major title.
Will he get it done? He's certainly looking in good shape off the back of an opening 68 and a pair of 66s.
News is coming in from No Laying Up that the charges brought against Scottie Scheffler following his arrest on Friday morning are 'set to be dropped'.
It looks like there are plenty of birdies to be had out there in the final round.
Sweden's Sebastian Soderberg is proving what can be done on Sunday having played the front nine in 4-under par.
Soderberg has vaulted from over par for the tournament up to 3-under par and just outside the top 50.
Is today finally the day that Xander Schauffele wins a first major title?
Many of you consider Schauffele as the best player on the PGA Tour without a major title to his name.
We would have to agree, too.
The World No.3 finds himself in a tie for the lead with Collin Morikawa.
Schauffele has thrown away golden opportunities to get it done in the majors, and even in big events such as The Players Championship earlier this season.
He's chalked up 21 top-10 finishes since his last victory at the Genesis Scottish Open in July 2022.
Schauffele had a slightly bizarre response to a reporter's question about what winning a first major title would mean to him.
Some fans believe his answer is an indication as to why he's maybe not enjoyed a great deal of success in the majors.
