Confirmed: Nine big names who crashed out of PGA Championship
From Tiger Woods to Phil Mickelson and Jon Rahm: Take a look at the superstar golfers who missed the cut at the 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla.
Former world number one Jon Rahm was one of the highest-profile players to miss the cut at the 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club.
And the Spaniard was joined by a few other surprising names who crashed out of the second men's major of the year at the halfway stage.
Once again it was a familiar tale for 15-time major champion Tiger Woods who carded rounds of 72 and 77 to miss the projected cut by eight shots.
Woods had a sloppy finish in the first round with two three-putts and then got off to a disasterous start in the second round with two triple bogeys in the first five holes.
Still, he says he'll be in the field at the U.S. Open next month.
