WATCH: PGA Tour pro misses putt from 16 (!) inches at Sony Open
PGA Tour pro Lucas Glover was one of the great stories of last season but his 2024 campaign has been a struggle thus far.
Lucas Glover was one of the great stories of the 2022-2023 PGA Tour campaign.
The veteran shocked us all by winning back-to-back events during the final stages of the season, putting himself firmly in the frame for an unlikely Ryder Cup captain's pick.
With four rounds in the 60s, Glover first ticked off the Wyndham Championship before triumphing in a playoff over Patrick Cantlay a week later at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
One of the reasons why he was so dominant over a short space of time was because, quite simply, he was a demon on the greens.
It just seemed like he would never, ever miss.
Glover uses a L.A.B. Golf putter which several notable Tour pros have turned to in recent weeks and months.
For example, Will Zalatoris is now using it in the hopes it will cure his obvious yips when faced with a short putt.
GolfMagic's Alex Lodge has investigated why this putter has become so popular.

As for Glover, he simply hasn't been at the races on the dancefloor this season.
He lost strokes during the opening round of the Sony Open and struggled to get things going in his second round.
Glover was one of several notable names who ended up missing the cut.
The obvious lowlight came at the par-3 17th when he did this:

Yikes. It was by no means a gimme, but you'd expect Glover to tap this in all day, every day.
