Watch: Jubilant Donald Trump teases golf star Bryson DeChambeau at Presidential Election party
Donald Trump was joined on stage by U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau after declaring victory over Kamala Harris in the U.S. Presidential Election.
Bryson DeChambeau was teased by Donald Trump after he declared victory in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election.
Trump is projected to return to the White House as America's 47th president after one of the most bitterly contested elections in U.S. history.
He has secured 267 electoral college votes of the 270 he needs to win against his Democratic rival Kamala Harris.
The 78-year-old also claimed that he won the popular vote.
Trump addressed his giddy supporters at the Palm Beach Convention Centre in Florida on Tuesday evening.
Reigning U.S. Open champion DeChambeau, 31, was a few minutes late because he was hitting golf balls.
Trump said: "We have up here today the U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau, fantastic.
"Obviously he hits the ball slightly longer than me! Just a little bit. Bryson DeChambeau is up here. Where is he? What happened to Bryson? Bryson! He's hitting balls?"
He added: "He's on the way? Bryson. Oh, look at him. He's got a great career going. Great U.S. Open, Bryson."

"This is about golf and giving back to our nation's veterans, not politics"
DeChambeau will suggest otherwise but he clearly had an impact on Trump's campaign.
Four months he uploaded a 'Break 50' video with Trump on his YouTube channel.
The video has since amassed more than 12m views.
Break 50 sees DeChambeau team up with another player or celebrity to try and break 50 from the front tees.
DeChambeau and Trump didn't achieve the feat, but the video shone a light on his golf game which has been the subject of fierce debate for decades.
Trump and DeChambeau attempted the challenge at Bedminster Golf Club in New Jersey.
DeChambeau attracted criticism for the video, but he pushed back on the negativity by claiming he was simply trying to give back to the nation's veterans.
He extended the offer to Joe Biden before he dropped out of the race.
What is Donald Trump's golf handicap?
Trump claims his handicap index is 2.8.
The claim was disputed by sportswriter Rick Reilly in his book Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump.
