Tiger Woods confirms his next golf event and it's not the one you thought!
Tiger Woods will tee it up in the Seminole Pro-Am on 4 March.
Tiger Woods will make his next start in the Seminole Pro-Am on Monday 4 March, but he has yet to confirm his participation in either the upcoming Arnold Palmer Invitational or The Players Championship on the PGA Tour.
Woods, 48, will join the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Collin Morikawa, Cameron Young and Nelly Korda, and a number of sporting stars such as NFL legend Tom Brady for the prestigious Seminole pro-member event in Florida.
The 15-time major champion has been drawn alongside PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh, Thomas and Mike Walrath.
Woods' group will tee off at 7.47am E.T. off the 1st tee at Seminole Golf Club.
It will mark the first time Woods has competed in the tournament.
McIlroy will join his father Gerry, three-time major champion Padraig Harrington and PGA Tour chairman Ed Herlihy.
The McIlroy group is off at 8.32am E.T.
No LIV Golf players have been invited to participate in the tournament.
The event will no doubt give the likes of Woods and McIlroy opportunity to discuss internal PGA Tour matters following the recent $3 billion investment by Strategic Sports Group (SSG).
The framework agreement between the PGA Tour and the PIF is also rumbling on in the background.
Woods was forced to withdraw during the second round of the Genesis Invitational last month after citing illness.
It is still unknown whether Woods will decide to participate in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, which starts on Thursday, or The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass the week after.
Woods will be looking to get one tournament in before The Masters from 11-14 April.
