DP World Tour winner burns Thomas Detry after insane six-putt on PGA Tour
DP World Tour pro Pablo Larrazabal mocks Thomas Detry after careless six-jab at the Cognizant Classic.
DP World Tour pro Pablo Larrazabal has mocked Thomas Detry on Twitter after the Belgian took six putts on one hole in the second round of the Cognizant Classic at The Palm Beaches on the PGA Tour.
Detry, who earned his PGA Tour card for this season via the DP World Tour in 2023, was left to rue a careless six-jab from 51 feet on the par-4 8th at PGA National.
Five of those putts came from six feet as Detry completely lost his head.
It led to a quadruple-bogey eight and Detry went on to shoot a 9-over 80.
He finished the week on 11-over par.
That is just one better than Anthony Kim, who has just posted two 76s during his horror LIV Golf debut.
Larrazabal, a nine-time winner on the DP World Tour, did not hold back in his assessment of Detry's six-putt as he rubbed salt into the wounds.
The Spaniard tweeted in response to the video: "Don’t you worry Tom, we all did that. I didn’t… [face palm emoji]."

"Pablo that's harsh," tweeted one fan.
Detry is still searching for his first win on both the DP World Tour and PGA Tour.
He did win the World Cup of Golf in 2018 alongside Thomas Pieters though.
Detry has progressed from outside the top 100 at the start of the season to a current 70th, largely a result of his T4 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am that was reduced to 54 holes due to bad weather.
He has missed his last two cuts on the PGA Tour.
