PGA Tour pro gazes at Rory McIlroy shot while stepping on playing partner's golf ball
PGA Tour pro Bud Cauley stepped on playing partner Lucas Glover's golf ball on the 16th while looking at Rory McIlroy play his tee shot on the 17th.

PGA Tour pro Bud Cauley was seen stepping on playing partner Lucas Glover's golf ball on the 16th while gazing at Rory McIlroy's tee shot on the 17th in the final round of The Players Championship.
Cauley was seen trudging towards the green on the par-5 16th while looking across to his right to watch McIlroy hit his wedge shot into the famous par-3 Island Green 17th.
McIlroy's ball spun back to within 15 feet on the green but up against the first collar of rough.
But as McIlroy's ball landed on dry land, Cauley's right foot was landing on Glover's golf ball that was positioned just shy of the green at the 16th.
Awkward to say the least.
Thankfully under the rules of golf there is no penalty for such a mistake and Glover was able to replace his ball - and Cauley was not penalised for his error of judgement.
Anyway, here's a look at what happened:

McIlroy ended up carding a 68 to tie things up with J.J. Spaun on 12-under par.
Both players will return for a three-hole playoff on Monday at 9am local time.
Glover closed with a 71 to finish tied third on 10-under par.
Cauley carded a 74 to finish a further shot adrift on 9-under par in a tie for sixth.
