PGA Tour golfer vows to out stroppy players after witnessing Scottie Scheffler outburst
PGA Tour member Michael Kim has vowed to out the circuit's worst players when he retires after watching Scottie Scheffler's outburst at TPC Sawgrass.
Michael Kim has vowed to out the PGA Tour's ill-tempered players when he retires after watching Scottie Scheffler get hot under the collar during the third round of the 2025 Players Championship.
Scheffler was one of a number of players that got frustrated during moving day of the flagship PGA Tour event at famed TPC Sawgrass.
Winds gusted up to 30mph and there were some big scores.
The runaway World No.1 dug in deep but appeared completely over it when he reached the par-4 18th.
He did the difficult part by finding the fairway with his tee shot but watched in horror as the wind grabbed his approach from 149 yards and his ball sailed over the green.
That resulted in Scheffler giving his caddie Ted Scott a mouthful before he tossed his club on the floor.
Scheffler marched up the fairway and managed to scramble to save his par and card a level par 72.
The clip was re-shared on X.

Prominent golf journalist Kyle Porter wrote: "I love Scottie as a player and a person, but the 'I'm the only one who gets these kicks, these gusts and these breaks' routine can be tiresome.
"Doesn't help him that every shot and reaction is televised, but still."
In-form PGA Tour member Kim saw the post and replied saying that he plans to out the worst offenders when he retires.
"There's so many worse guys on Tour that just don't get the TV time," Kim wrote. "I have a personal ranking."
Kim refused to divulge any more information, though he did say that Jordan Spieth didn't even make the top-10.

"It was really tough out there"
Scheffler sits on 5-under after 54 holes of the unofficial fifth men's major of the year.
He told reporters that he needs to do something crazy tomorrow if he is to win the tournament for the third year in a row.
"You never know," he said.
Scheffler wasn't the only player to get a tad angry on day three.
The aforementioned Spieth was also filmed launching his fairway wood down the fairway after his golf ball found a watery grave.
