American professional golfer Max Homa has established himself on the PGA Tour so it's no surprise he has a knowledgeable caddie on his bag.

When Homa turned professional in 2013 he employed his childhood friend Joe Greiner as his looper.

They were together until April 2025 when Homa made the surprising decision to part ways with Greiner.

With Greiner on his bag, Homa won six times on the PGA Tour and he was also carrying his sticks as he made his Ryder Cup debut in September 2023.

The 34-year-old replaced Greiner with Bill Harke, who has worked with numerous Tour players such as Chris Kirk, Colt Knost and Jonas Blixt.

Homa did not reveal the exact reason why he decided to split with Greiner but the decision coincided with a shocking downturn in form.

He made sweeping changes at the beginning of 2025.

He stopped working with his long-time coach, Mark Blackburn, and also decided to switch equipment, moving from Titleist to Cobra.

Homa began the 2025 season five missed cuts from eight starts.

Who is Max Homa's caddie?

Max Homa's new caddie is Bill Harke.

He has a wealth of experience and has previously carried the clubs for former PGA Tour pro turned analyst Colt Knost, Sweden's Jonas Blixt and Chris Kirk.

Harke has been caddying since 2004.

He played collegiate golf and was going to embark on a career as a PGA professional but when the opportunity arose for him to caddie on the LPGA Tour he grabbed it with both hands.

Harke began his caddying journey with Janice Moodie but by 2008 transitioned onto the developmental Korn Ferry Tour with Peter Tomasulo.

Harke loves being a caddie and previously told The Caddie Network in a Q&A that the best thing about the role is the adrenaline rush when a player gets into contention.

His greatest memory as a caddie was working with the aforementioned Kirk when he won for the first time on the PGA Tour in 2013.
