Hero World Challenge prize money 2024: How much Scottie Scheffler, others won
Hero World Challenge prize money 2024: Check out how much Scottie Scheffler and the rest of the field won in the Bahamas.
Scottie Scheffler capped off 2024 with his ninth victory of the season at the Hero World Challenge.
Scheffler, who won his second Masters title in April, hit a sensational final round of 63 to win by six strokes over Tom Kim.
The American finished on 25-under par at Albany in the Bahamas.
Scheffler's victory means that, incredibly, he has won 42.9 per cent of the 21 tournaments he has played this year.
He has also tied Tiger Woods (2000) and Vijay Singh (2004) for most victories in a season.
"[That was] very satisfying," Scheffler told reporters in the aftermath of his latest win.
"I did a lot of good stuff on the course, played a really solid round of golf.
"[It] feels nice to take a little break and come back and continue to play some pretty solid golf."
The 28-year-old added: "It has been a great year and a fun year.
"I have had a little bit of time to reflect, but I am not really sure how to assess it. It has just been pretty surreal, a lot of fun and I am just really grateful."
Scheffler also scooped $1m for his title defence.
