Grayson Murray has moved into the world's top 50 for the first time in his career after landing his first PGA Tour title in six and half years with playoff victory at the Sony Open.
Murray, 30, drained a 39-footer for birdie on the first extra hole - the par-5 18th - to defeat Ben An and Keegan Bradley at famed Waialae Country Club in Hawaii.
An missed a short four-foot birdie putt to extend the playoff.

The win sends Murray to 47th in the Official World Golf Rankings, his best position of all time.
Murray's previous best was 85th, achieved back in 2017.
The win caps a rollercoaster journey for Murray, who had struggled to find his form for a while.
Murray withdrew from the Bermuda Championship in 2022 following a scooter accident on the island.
Back then he had fallen to outside the top 800 in the world.
Murray also confirmed in recent years he had been battling alcohol addiction, depression and anxiety.
He also hit out at Rory McIlroy in 2023.
But Murray regained his PGA Tour card last season following victory at the Simmons Bank Open on the Korn Ferry Tour, and he has now won twice in his last 13 worldwide starts.
