Golf legend Tiger Woods and his Sun Day Red company have announced the opening of a brand new 'pop-up store' at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California.

Woods, 48, set up his new Sun Day Red clothing and footwear brand earlier this season.

That was after his 27-year association with Nike Golf came to an emotional end

After releasing a number of new collection lines to their online business, Woods' Sun Day Red confirmed on Friday 11 October it has opened up its first 'pop-up shop' at Pebble Beach Golf Resort.

Pebble Beach is an iconic PGA Tour venue where Woods has won multiple times during his career, highlighted by his record 15-shot romp at the 2000 US Open.

Woods' Sun Day Red posted in a statement:

"A Sun Day Red Pop-Up Shop, a first for us, opening October 11th at Pebble Beach Golf Resort, offering the first opportunity for fans to see, feel and try on our gear in real time. A full inventory of Sun Day Red golf, lifestyle and training apparel and accessories is stocked... The shop also carries a variety of Sun Day Red merchandise with the Pebble Beach logo, which will be available only at the Sun Day Red Pop-Up Shop and not online."

Woods said of his SDR new pop-up store:

"Pebble Beach is very special to me for many reasons. Staying and playing at Pebble is the ultimate premium golf experience, making it the perfect place for our first Sun Day Red Pop-Up Shop. I’m excited to see fans discover and interact with our gear in this setting."

The update from Woods falls during a week where Sun Day Red have accused Tigeraire of changing their website in recent months to feature golfers to manufacture an overlap in the marketplace when 'none existed'.

Sun Day Red have confirmed 'reluctant' legal action

Woods' Sun Day Red told GolfMagic last month the 15-time major champion is prepared to make a big change if he wins an elusive 16th major title.

The former World No.1 remains sidelined through injury at the moment after recently undergoing a sixth back surgery of his career.

Over a year ago Woods underwent ankle surgery. That came two years after his horror car crash in Los Angeles.

Woods endured a lacklustre season on the fairways in 2024.

He played in all four majors but missed the cut in three of them and he finished dead last in 60th of those that made the weekend at The Masters.

Woods is not expected to play again on the PGA Tour this year but he is hopeful of being able to line up alongside his son Charlie Woods at the annual PNC Championship just before Christmas.

Talking of iconic venues, GolfMagic played the  1st hole on the famed Old Course at St Andrews with Sky Sports Football pundit and ex Premier League player Jamie Redknapp.
