Charlie Woods is back in action this week with his father Tiger at the PNC Championship.

The duo are playing the hit-and-giggle PGA Tour event at the Ritz-Carlton in Florida for the fifth time. 

They are yet to taste victory in the parent/child tournament. 

All the action gets underway on 21 December, with Team Woods teeing it up 10:44am EST (16:44 GMT). 

Tiger and Charlie have been drawn to play alongside former Open champion Justin Leonard and his son Jason. 

The 15-time major champion will have his daughter Samantha, 17, acting as caddie while Charlie will have a buddy from his high school helping him out. 

Naturally as Charlie gets older there will be more interest in his private life considering the status of his father.

At present there is no public information about Charlie's love life. 

The 15-year-old is focusing on his education at the Benjamin School in Palm Beach County.

Charlie Axel Woods was born on 8 February 2009. 

His older sister Samantha Alexis Woods was born in 2007. 

Tiger and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren divorced in 2010 after his extramarital affairs were exposed. 

Despite his age, Charlie has already made significant achievements in his junior golf career. 

In 2023, Charlie won the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour's major championship, sealing victory in the boys' 14-15 age category by eight strokes. 

He was also on the team when the Benjamin School won the gold medal at the 2023 high school state championship. 

This February, he played his first pre-qualifier in an attempt to get into his first PGA Tour event. 

And in June he qualified for his first U.S. Junior Amateur. 

Things didn't quite go to plan for Charlie there as he missed the cut. 

Tiger won the U.S. Junior Amateur three times. He is the only player to do so.
