Carlota Ciganda may have won Spanish Open on the Ladies European Tour, but the Solheim Cup star rubbed golf fans the wrong way with her pace of play.

Footage has emerged of Ciganda taking what some considered an unreasonable amount of time over her second shot on the par-4 15th hole at Real Club Guadalhorce.

The Spaniard took precisely one minute and 24 seconds to play her approach into the green.

She went on to win the LET event by one stroke over Belgium's Manon De Roey.

This is not the first time this season Ciganda has come under the microscope over her pace of play.

According to MondayQInfo, she was fined $4,000 for slow play during the penultimate event of the LPGA Tour season.

It is widely assumed that Ciganda deemed the fine worth it given her spot in the CME Group Tour Championship was up in the air.

Ciganda narrowly made it though to the LPGA finale, which had the largest prize purse in women's history.

Jeeno Thitikul captured the win and the top prize of $4,000,000

Ciganda placed 46th and earned $59,000 for her efforts.

Take a look at the clip here:

Unsurprisingly, the clip has irked a few golf fans.

Here's some comments:
"Just hit the damn ball."

"She has been fined numerous times. She has to go. She's too slow."

"I can't even watch this."

"Watching college kids they are just as slow. The game is no fun to watch or play at slow speeds."

"Holy Jupiter! Hit the ball, it isn't going anywhere."

"This woman would NEVER last in our group."

"That thing with the glove is a personality disorder."
