Watch: Phil Mickelson stuns (!) golf fans with highlight reel driver off deck
Phil Mickelson left fans in awe after he hit a highlight reel driver off the deck at LIV Golf Singapore days after admitting his career is almost over.
Phil Mickelson may be talking about retirement, but Lefty showed on day one of LIV Golf Singapore he's still got all the shots that saw him anointed 'the Thrill'.
Mickelson dropped a hint that his career is coming to an end when he spoke to reporters before teeing it up at Sentosa Golf Club.
But whilst he's still playing shots like this it's likely Mickelson still has, at the very least, a few years left in the game.

This epic shot arrived at Sentosa's par-5 18th and Mickelson took the aggressive option with his second after finding the middle of the fairway with his driver.
He opted to use the chief once again from 300 yards out, sending his golf ball fizzing through the air which landed on the green and ultimately settled in the first cut of rough.
"Oh my word," David Feherty said on the commentary.

Mickelson ultimately returned a scorecard of one-over 72 after 18 holes which left him in a tie for 41st in the 54-man field.
At the other end of the leaderboard, Sebastion Munoz held a one-shot lead over Thomas Pieters and Brooks Koepka.
Mickelson has yet to record a victory since joining the breakaway in 2022.
This season, Mickelson has only cracked the top-10 once in Jeddah.
And now he is thinking about retirement.
"If I'm being truthful it's towards its end," Mickelson said of his career.
"Now, I would like to help others find the same enjoyment and fulfilment that the game of golf has provided me.”
"There are moments when you are on a golf course alone and you have that solitude, or you could also be with family and friends having a good time or competing in a club championship or junior event or at the highest level and feeling that competition.
"All of that creates such fulfilment, whether you're practising on your own or with friends.
"There's so many great things about the game of golf and I would love others to experience those things."
