Report: Jon Rahm will move to LIV Golf "in the coming days" and get his own team
Jon Rahm's move to LIV Golf is set to happen and he will get his own team too, confirms Flushing It.
LIV Golf is expected to confirm the signing of Jon Rahm from the PGA Tour this week, according to social media account Flushing It and the Off The Ball podcast.
Rahm, 29, is believed to have sat down with LIV Golf bosses over recent weeks to iron out a deal to join the Saudi-bankrolled circuit.
It is understood Rahm will accept a signing fee of $300m and he will also be handed a 25% equity in his own LIV Golf team.
Rahm is expected to sign a five-year deal with LIV Golf taking him through to 2029.
It is estimated the entire contract for Rahm will be worth in the region of $600m.
Flushing It tweeted on December 5:
Rahm is understood to be happy with the terms of his deal and is set to be announced before or during this week's LIV Promotions Event in Abu Dhabi.
The Spaniard will become LIV Golf's biggest signing to date ahead of its third season, which will start in February 2024.

The Off The Ball podcast also confirmed Rahm's announcement will be made official by LIV Golf on Thursday or Friday this week.

Tiger Woods was pressed on Rahm's potential move to LIV Golf during the Hero World Challenge, to which he replied:
Once Rahm has joined LIV Golf, he will become suspended by the PGA Tour along with all other members who have joined the league.
Rahm has played on the PGA Tour ever since turning professional in 2016.
He has won 11 times on the PGA Tour including two major titles at the 2021 US Open and 2023 Masters.
Rahm recently WD from Woods and Rory McIlroy's new TGL, which now starts in 2025.
