LIV Golf teams 2025: Which players have joined breakaway tour?
LIV Golf teams 2025: Find out which players have joined the likes of Jon Rahm, Cameron Smith and Brooks Koepka for the fourth campaign.
LIV Golf's unofficial poster boy, Phil Mickelson, has promised another shake-up for the 2025 campaign.
Lefty claimed before the breakaway tour concluded their third season in Dallas that more signings are expected.
Mickelson declared LIV were prepared to go on a spending spree shortly before Jon Rahm joined the fledgling circuit for a reported $566.4m in December 2023.
Rahm, a former World No.1 and Masters champion, was then joined by his European Ryder Cup teammate Tyrrell Hatton and Adrian Meronk.
So who could be next?
What we do know is that at least one spot will be filled by the winner of LIV Golf Promotions.
The event, played in December, is LIV's version of qualifying school and offers one ticket to the league.
Elsewhere, the winner of The International Series' order of merit on the Asian Tour will also earn their LIV playing rights.
The aforementioned Rahm is looking to add a player to his side after Kieran Vincent was relegated.
Sergio Garcia told us that he's looking to replace Eugenio Chacarra at the Fireballs.
Bubba Watson finished in the drop zone but is exempt from relegation as a captain.
He is yet to confirm whether he will play for the RangeGoats in 2025. It has been speculated that he could make way for a younger player.
Trades can also be allowed during the off-season, although it appears many teams in the league will remain unchanged.
LIV Golf transfers 2025
Thomas Pieters was the first to make a move in the transfer market, swapping from Bubba Watson's RangeGoats to Dustin Johnson's 4 Aces.
At the time of writing, the 4 Aces have five players on their roster.
It is yet to be revealed what Johnson will decide to do with Harold Varner III and Pat Perez.
Both players narrowly avoided relegation.
LIV Golf transfer speculation 2025
GolfMagic have previously outlined who LIV Golf may target in the coming months.
Viktor Hovland has now secured numerous PGA Tour titles and established himself as player with a Ryder Cup pedigree.
The Norwegian has been outspoken against PGA Tour leadership and fits the bill of a 'global star' LIV would love in their ranks.
Hideki Matsuyama was also rumoured to have turned down more than $400m in the past.
Could the PIF take another run at Matsuyama?
Wyndham Clark also stated he turned down an offer for the 2023 season.
Elsewhere, LIV may target the likes of Jason Day or Tony Finau.
Here's a look at the current teams and the spots that need filling:
