LIV Golf makes early statement by unveiling its opening fixtures for 2025 season
'LIV Golf is gearing up for our most ambitious season start to date,' Greg Norman claims ahead of next season.
Greg Norman claims LIV Golf is gearing up for its 'most ambitious season start to date' after the Saudi-bankrolled circuit unveiled its first four fixtures in 2025.
LIV Golf has two more events to go in 2024 with its Individual Championship being contested in Chicago from 13-15 September.
Jon Rahm and Joaquin Niemann will lock horns as they fight out individual season honours, while players at the other end of the table, who are not otherwise exempt, will be battling to avoid relegation.
The breakaway league then heads to Dallas for the Team Championship a week later.
After that, a number of LIV Golf players will turn their attention to either the DP World Tour or International Series on the Asian Tour.

Others will be sticking their feet up and enjoying time with their families before the start of the 2025 campaign, which gets underway in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 6-8 February.
LIV Golf will then head over to Adelaide, Australia, for its most popular event so far from 14-16 February.
Hong Kong will then be next up on the schedule from 7-9 March, with Singapore following a week after that.
"As we set our sights on 2025, LIV Golf is gearing up for our most ambitious season start to date," said LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman.
"Since our debut in 2022, LIV Golf has played 34 tournaments in nine different countries across four continents.
"We are a global league with a global footprint, and we're excited to kick off next season with four truly international events that will deliver our unique blend of elite golf entertainment and culture to fans around the world."
There are still 10 more LIV Golf events to be confirmed for 2025, with a total of 14 tournaments once again expected on the schedule.
It remains to be seen if any more high-profile PGA Tour stars will choose to head over to LIV Golf ahead of 2025.
Talks are reportedly still going on in the background between LIV Golf's bankrollers, PIF, and the PGA Tour on a commercial deal.

Eagle-eyed golf fans will be drawn to the fact the first four LIV Golf events of 2025 all clash with PGA Tour Signature Events.
LIV Golf's most successful event thus far in Adelaide, Australia, from 14-16 February will be staged in the same week Tiger Woods' Genesis Invitational at Riviera.
The time difference, however, will mean the two events won't clash from a broadcasting perspective.
Following the completion of LIV Golf Adelaide earlier this season, it was confirmed a reported 94,000 fans attended the three days of action at The Grange Golf Club in Australia.
That number was up from 77,000 on its debut event at the same venue in 2023, and vastly up on all other LIV Golf events throughout the season.

Much of the tournament's success has been down to bringing a high-profile tournament to the heart of Australia, something Norman considers has been a missed opportunity for those on the PGA Tour.
Norman told Australian Golf Digest he 'feels sorry' for his doubters.
