Jon Rahm has revealed the biggest challenge he has faced since joining LIV Golf amid rumours he wants to return to the PGA Tour.

Jon Rahm says the biggest challenge since joining LIV Golf is adapting to the schedule after he laughed off suggestions he wants to rejoin the PGA Tour.

A tour veteran was quoted in a Golf Digest feature earlier in the week suggesting the Spaniard would like to give back the millions of dollars he received to join the breakaway tour after 'miscalculating' his high-profile move.

But Rahm and LIV commissioner Greg Norman have poured cold water on the claim, suggesting nothing could be further from the truth.

"Having committed to LIV early December, I had two months to ask questions and get ready for it," Rahm told reporters after he took the 36-hole lead at LIV Golf Greenbrier when asked if anything has taken him by surprise about his move.

"So I wouldn't say anything was shocking.

"I think the biggest challenge for me was going to be the schedule change.

"But that's something you can get used to, it's not a big deal.

"I kind of actually enjoy being given the schedule.

"This is the tournaments, this is where you play and that's it, instead of having to figure out a schedule throughout the year based on tournaments and what I want to play and what courses I know and do not know.

"So there's an element of freedom when it comes to that that I don't mind."

Rahm added: "But I wouldn't say there was anything that was surprising.

"I think I got my expectations pretty on point with what I needed to -- what I would hope or I thought LIV Golf would be like."

What did Greg Norman say?

Norman confirmed he had read the article about Rahm.

But he asserted: "It's just not true. You speak to Jon's general manager, it's like laughable. I just truly don't get it. I truly don't get the divide."

Norman's comments come a few days after PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan confirmed it's unlikely we will see an agreement between the PGA Tour and LIV's backers, the Saudi PIF, until 2027 at the earliest.

Norman added: "The division is still there when we are actually showing how we do work within the ecosystem and how the ecosystem is accepting us and how the people are speaking out there.

"I just don't understand why it is this way. It tells you there is some deep seeded something there, but we are going to keep ploughing through it and stay true to ourselves."
