Sam Burns goes all Patrick Reed as he gives it large to European fans
Sam Burns gives it large to European Ryder Cup fans: "What's that?! I can't f***ing hear you?!"
Sam Burns went all Patrick Reed when holing a birdie putt on the 6th during his fourballs match at the Ryder Cup on Saturday afternoon.
Burns' playing partner Collin Morikawa had just missed a birdie putt from mid-range and a number of European fans cheered out loud.
That seemingly irked Burns, who then stepped into his short two-footer for birdie to win the hole.
Burns duly holed the putt, then put his hands to his ears as he trudged over to the crowd while leaving his ball in the cup for his caddie to pluck out.
The American could be heard saying: "What's that?! I can't f***ing hear you!!"

Sky Sports on-course commentator Anthony Wall was asked by those in the comms box whether anyone in the crowd had ruffled Burns up the wrong way for a reaction like that, but Wall replied: "No it was all good, I just think Sam brought that all on himself."
Burns' reaction gave golf fans instant Patrick Reed 'Captain America' vibes from past Ryder Cup matches.
Reed has been renowned for putting his finger to his lip to shush the crowd whenever holing a clutch putt at the Ryder Cup.
