Pros
Cons

As utility or rescue clubs go, this one might look a little more wood than iron, but in performance it offers a penetrating flight that is much more like the long iron that it's designed to replace.

The test club in this case was the 18-degree loft version and the D8 swingweight certainly puts it at the heavier end of the hybrid family.

Looks: With the toe extending some way beyond the hitting area of the clubface this club has quite a distinctive appearance. The head is reasonably chunky, but not so much that you can’t get to fluffier lies in the rough.

Feel/performance: Quite a dull sound offthe face that doesn’t relay a feeling of real power, but that isn’t what this club is about. Besides the heavier swingweight, it gives the feeling that there is real meat behind the strike.
