J15 hybrid
The Bridgestone J15 is a stunning hybrid. It has a sleek, shiny and classic-looking profile, which oozes class thanks to the predominantly black finish. The white lines on the face contrast nicely with the crown.
The brand has implemented the same FAST crown and Hyper Stainless 455 Steel face as used in its fairway heads, and the design allows the face to flex more at impact for increased ball speeds. To increase distance, the J15 is thinner towards the front of the crown in order to create a springboard effect.

We found it was middle of the pack in the distance stakes, and we loved the lively but soft feel off the club face and appealing, light sound it produces at impact.
The shape of the head is slightly fatter towards the toe, and we found the club tended to have a small draw bias. We found it difficult to play a fade with the J15, which is a useful shot to play with a hybrid if you're attacking a green and want the ball to stop fast.
In terms of forgiveness, there isn't much help on offer. Stray from the sweet spot, and you won't be getting much purchase.
There is a six gram weight on the sole of the club, but additional weights do not come with a purchase, so you'll have to shell out £41 if you want to play around with it.
Verdict
A beautiful club that offers a great feel and sound at impact. Provides decent distance, but not the easiest to work. Not much forgiveness on offer.
