G/Fore Collection glove review

If you're a fashion conscious golfer, look no further than slipping on a new G/Fore glove this season.

Along with its luxurious shoe range, G/Fore products are simply born out of founder Mossimo Giannulli's desire to inject a little more fun and flair back into the game - and for that reason, we applaud.

"We tweaked everything from the dye method to the stitching on each fingertip until we had a product that I felt was worthy of the game," Giannulli said about his G/Fore gloves, as worn by legendary golfer Tom Watson.

The flagship G/Fore "Collection" glove is available in an array of personalised colour combinations to suit every golfer's apparel choice, but more importantly, it performs how you would want a golf glove to perform. 

And two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson, who wore the G/Fore glove for the first time in competition en route to landing the Northern Trust Open, would appear to agree.

"It's the best quality leather I've put on my hand," said Watson.

"It's the fit, the feel and obviously Mossimo is a perfectionist with anything he does, whether it be a glove, a shoe, or clothing."

Refreshed and expanded for each season, G/Fore gloves are precision-crafted from premium 100% AA Cabretta leather to provide golfers the ultimate in construction, quality, fit and feel.

When the palms get a little sweaty, the glove appears to keep you cool out on the course and maintains a strong grip throughout the round, while its soft feel and tight fit is about as snug as it gets. 

It is probably fair to say, however, there are more suitable gloves for the winter months than this one.

Verdict

One of our favourite gloves currently on the market and one we will be continuing to use during our club testing this season. After all, we love to stand out from the crowd. 

The glove builder on the G/Fore website is simple to use, allowing you to choose your primary colour, thumb colour, tab colour and trim colour. You can really go to town on your glove at no extra charge and we think that's a nice touch. 

G/Fore gloves - available for both men and women in sizes S to XXL - unquestionably work best in warmer months, but we certainly wouldn't put you off using one during winter either. 

It might be a glove best purchased on pay day, but we admire how G/Fore is allowing you to show your true colours on the course.

A glove that brings pizzazz and comfort to the fairways.
