AQL

FootJoy AQL is an ultra-lightweight golf shoe that features added stability for year-round playability.

Including a Full Grain Leather upper that provides outstanding breathability and durability, FJ AQL comes with a Proof-Guard Waterproof Membrane that provides total waterproof protection and accompanied by the market-leaders limited one-year waterproof guarantee.

Inside the shoe and there's an ideal, soft PU Lining that feels like leather and provides excellent fit and comfort. On top of that, there's a Tietex Lining that offers outstanding breathability for added comfort.
 
A light moulded EVA Fit-Bed also provides a perfect base to the AQL, increasing underfoot cushioning and support.

With a Laser Last, which is a composite of thousands of digital scans of the FootJoy Laser Fitting System, the shoe features a full rounded toe character, standard fit across forefoot and instep, with a slightly narrow heel that is finished off with the superior greens-friendly Stinger Cleats by CHAMP.

The shoe comes in seven different colour options with a selection of styles.

Verdict

Although AQL isn't my favourite ever shoe to fly out of FJ Towers, I'm a big fan of the super soft PU lining as it's particularly comfy. I'm also a fan of its price tag. If you can get hold of the AQL for less than £50, you have yourself a terrific bargain.
