Anthony Kim is a professional golfer from Los Angeles, California.
He was born on 19 June 1985.
Kim burst onto the scene in the late 2000s, making his mark on the PGA Tour.
Such was his meteoric rise and popularity, he was even touted as Tiger Woods' heir.
Kim won three PGA Tour events, including the 2008 Wachovia Championship and the AT&T National.
That year, he also played a pivotal role in the U.S. teams Ryder Cup victory, delivering electrifying performances.
Kim even inflicted a heavy defeat on Sergio Garcia at Valhalla.
His career-best finish in a major was a T3 at the 2010 Masters.
Plagued by injuries, including a ruptured Achilles tendon, Kim stepped away from golf in 2012.
The decision sparked wild speculation about his future and whereabouts.
He returned to the game in 2024 with the LIV Golf League.
Kim revealed that his life spiralled out of control when he stepped away from the game and he fell into addiction.
He is now sober, though. He is married to Emily and the couple have a daughter called Bella.
