PGA Tour star Will Zalatoris gets married to "best friend" Caitlin Sellers
Will Zalatoris takes to social media to confirm he has now tied the knot with Caitlin.
PGA Tour star Will Zalatoris has taken to Instagram to reveal he has tied the knot with his "best friend" Caitlin Sellers.
Zalatoris, 26, took to social media on Tuesday afternoon to reveal his latest news.
He captioned his post: "Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. I love you."
Zalatoris, who won PGA Tour Rookie of the Year in 2020/21, picked up his first PGA Tour victory in a playoff at the FedEx St Jude Championship in August.
He very nearly won his first major this year, too, agonisingly losing out in a three-hole playoff to Justin Thomas at the US PGA Championship.
Zalatoris then finished one shot behind Matt Fitzpatrick at the US Open in a tie for second with Scottie Scheffler.
But Zalatoris' season was then curtailed through a back injury, forcing him to miss out on competing in the United States Presidents Cup team for the first time in his career.
His last competitive appearance on the PGA Tour came at the BMW Championship where he was forced out in round three.
Zalatoris is currently ranked seventh in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Earlier in the year, Zalatoris opened up on the tough decision to sack his caddie.
It is believed that Zalatoris will return to the PGA Tour in the first tournament of 2023 at the Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.

A picture of the couple first appeared on Zalatoris' Instagram in 2018.
When he proposed last April, he said it was the best day of his life.
Who is Zalatoris' wife Caitlin Sellers?
Sellers, also 26, has a Masters in marketing and now works as an analyst for a company in Texas. Not much is known about her.
She likes to keep a low profile and keeps her Instagram page private. Though Zalatoris' rise to superstardom could change that.
