Patrick Cantlay scooped $15 million for winning the Tour Championship and resulting FedEx Cup following his one-shot victory over World No.1 Jon Rahm at East Lake on Sunday.
Cantlay has now won back-to-back tournaments on the PGA Tour and six times in his career.
The American started the week on 10-under par due to his No.1 ranking heading into the season finale, and he ended up on 21-under par.
Rahm still picks up a cool $5 million for finishing second, while third place Kevin Na earns $4 million.
Brooks Koepka withdrew on Saturday but still picks up $395,000 for finishing last of the 30 players.
